Portfolio - Web Sites
During my career as a Software Engineer I have constructed various Web Sites for various different business cases. The main web technologies I used are DHTML, PHP and as a database MySQL. But I have also worked with Visual Studio.NET constructing ASP.NET web sites having SQL Server as a back-end.
Below you will find a list of web sites I have constructed along with the technology used. Some of them are still "live", others have changed layouts and others may have been completely removed.
Small Notice: I do not concern myself with graphics. I usually use other professional illustrators and/or web designers who are responsible for the graphical part of my sites. I am a web developer and I stick to that :) Furthermore some of these sites are front-end of a more complex backend which is usually developed in Delphi7 (e.g. ApeironPhotos.com, SingularLogic.eu and ifestos.mnec.gr). These backends include from Synchronization Clients and Webservices to full blown custom ERPs.

| 2008 | ifestos.mnec.gr The biggest project I have ever been part of. The site is used to monitor the oil transactions of greek gas stations. It was a tool for the Greek Ministry of Economics. Technically it has everything, from dynamic pages using DHTML and Ajax to custom web services so that binary applications written in Delphi or .NET could communicate. Daemons, schedulers, control panels, security modules, everything custom made for the occasion. 3-man show (An analyst, a DB/Dev Guru and a Web Developer), 2 month 24hr/day work! Art Design: A.SX. |

| 2007 | ekloges.singularlogic.eu The official website for the display of the results for the Greek National Elections in 2007. Due to the incredible heavy traffic (tenths of millions hits in less than 8 hours) the site had to be light weighted and process free. DHTML techniques have been used for late XML data binding along with a binary daemon application which auto generated the final html at prespecified intervals. Art Design: addicted.gr |
